Double Glazing
Double glazing has long been at the forefront of energy savings for aluminium windows and doors. By combining two panes of glass with an air-tight spacer, the argon gas-filled Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) acts as a powerful barrier against unwanted heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. All window and door systems supplied by Stock Windows have been manufactured and tested to comply with Australian Standards (ASAS2047 and AS1288) and have been Australian Glass and Window Association (AGWA) Certification.
There are still many manufactures who claim to be AGWA certified, yet sub standard products continue to flood the Australian market everyday. Before you make your investment, ensure your windows are certified and comply to avoid costly replacement.
